With over 20 years of experience as a public school teacher, advocate, and project specialist, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges our schools and communities face. As a mother and educator, I have seen firsthand the resilience it takes for students and families to succeed. These experiences shape my vision to elevate EPISD District 4 and ensure that every student, educator, and family has the tools they need to thrive.

Transparency and accountability are at the heart of my approach. I have consistently pushed for open communication, community involvement, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars—because families deserve to know how their hard-earned money is spent and how decisions affect their schools and neighborhoods.

In my professional roles, I’ve mentored teachers, developed curriculum, and trained educators to implement innovative practices. This broad K-12 experience, paired with my knowledge of state education policy, gives me the insight needed to address systemic issues while advocating for equitable and effective solutions.

As a neighborhood advocate, I have organized communities, mobilized families, and fought to ensure their voices are heard. Whether it’s uniting parents to protect schools from closure or advocating for fair treatment of underrepresented areas like the Northeast, I’ve consistently stood for what’s right—working to turn frustration into meaningful action.

I am deeply committed to shaping the future of education, bringing a wealth of hands-on experience across all grade levels and a profound understanding of state education policy to advocate for every child’s success, particularly in the crucial early years of Pre-K. My extensive knowledge of state education laws, with a special focus on early childhood education, has shaped my ability to navigate the unique needs of younger learners.

am committed to fostering a district where every student, teacher, and family feels supported and empowered to reach their fullest potential. By prioritizing equitable resources, innovative programs, and open communication, we can create a learning environment where success is achievable for everyone. Together, we can address the systemic challenges facing our schools and build a stronger future for our community.
